Description

Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c.1850. Now in use as public house and having pub-front to part of ground floor. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls having square-headed openings with replacement uPVC windows and stone sills. Cast-iron cresting to first floor sills. Pub-front comprising timber pilasters flanking openings, with timber fascias and cornices above. Plate-glass windows to pub-front and to adjoining large pub window and pair of timber panelled and glazed double-leaf door with over-light.

Appraisal

The façade of this building is enlivened by the well-executed pub-front and window.
