Single-span cast-iron girder bridge, erected 1880, supported by squared-stone wall creating access tunnel between fields. Wrought-iron lattice parapets.
This bridge, giving access between fields for both livestock and machinery, is a good example of this type of structure. The latticed detailing adds an attractive and technically-appealing quality to this simple bridge. Located on the extensive Lough Rynn estate, it is one of three bridges of similar design within the estate.
