Description

Detached three-bay single-storey former school or parochial hall, c. 1840, adapted for use as a garage and filling station. Projecting gable-fronted end bays. Rendered walls on nap plinth with pitched roof. Rendered chimneystack. Square-headed window and door openings. Building faces onto street.

The original type of this building, either parochial hall or school, has been carefully maintained despite its adaption for use as a filling station and garage. The character of the original building can be identified in the pair of entrances at either end bay.
