Five-arch rubble stone road bridge over river, c.1800. Random rubble stone walls with dressed rubble stone triangular cut-waters to piers, and rendered rounded coping to parapets. Series of five segmental arches with cut-stone voussoirs, and rubble stone soffits. Sited spanning Lingaun River with grass banks to river.
Exhibiting a traditional construction in unrefined locally-sourced stone with dressed stone dressings displaying high quality craftsmanship a modest-scale bridge forming an attractive landmark at a crossing over the Lingaun River represents an important artefact of the late eighteenth- or early nineteenth-century transport legacy of Counties Kilkenny and Tipperary.
