Description

Detached six-bay two-storey former house, built c. 1820, converted to convent and extended c. 1885, with polygonal projection to left hand side. Pitched double-span hipped artificial slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods, red brick chimneystack, natural slate roof to chapel, and mansard roof to rear. Painted nap rendered walls. uPVC bottom-hung inward-opening windows set in segmental-arched openings. Timber panelled door with top and margin lights. Lancet windows to polygonal projection. Limestone rubble boundary wall with cast-metal railings. Limestone steps to front door. Wrought-iron gate and statue of St. Joseph to front garden.
