Single-arch stone road bridge, built c.1855, over disused railway line. Squared rubble stone parapet with cut stone coping.
A robust railway bridge that demonstrates the high quality construction of railway structures built by the Midland & Great Western Railway Company. The bridge is a record of the nineteenth century railway age and the former extensive railway network in the county. The bridge is part of a group of railway related structures near the disused Crossdoney Station including the railway station, goods shed, and railway workers' houses.
