Single-arch road bridge, built c.1800, with slightly humped deck. Semi-circular arch with dressed voussoirs, rubble stone spandrels, and parapets. Half barrel concrete coping to parapets.
A well constructed road bridge which retains its historic form and character. The bridge is very typical of the many small-scale bridges that were built by the Grand Juries to improve the transport system, particularly during the late eighteenth and early-nineteenth centuries. The bridge is an important part of the county's civil engineering heritage.
