Terraced gable-fronted single-bay three-storey house, built c. 1850, having oriel window to first floor. Built as a terrace of twenty-three. Pitched slate roof with render chimneystacks and timber bargeboards. Rendered walls. Square-headed bipartite openings to ground and second floors having one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed openings to oriel with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed opening having overlight and timber panelled door. Limestone threshold to entrance.
Known locally as "The Deck of Cards", this terrace is built upon steeply sloping terrain with each individual house following the gradient. Their complex means of construction and sophisticated design makes this terrace a noteworthy presence in the streetscape. The surviving limestone threshold and sash windows contribute to its historic character.
