Detached eleven-bay three-storey former bonded store, built c.1800, now disused. Hipped slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods. Random rubble stone walling with rubble stone buttresses accentuating bays and roughly dressed quoins. Camber-headed window openings with red brick block-and-start surrounds and timber replacement windows. Square-headed door opening to rear (east) elevation with timber matchboard double doors. Street-fronted to front (west) elevation, bounded to rear by recent rubble stone wall.

This robust former bonded store, which formed part of the extensive Watercourse Distillery complex, is an impressive reminder of the industrial heritage of Cork. The distillery was operating by 1794 and was one of a group of distilleries which made Cork an important distilling centre by the end of the eighteenth century. The retention of its original form and proportion is worthy of note. Now located overlooking a busy road it continues to dominate the surrounding area, due to its imposing scale.
