Terraced gable-fronted two-bay two-storey house, built c. 1750, as part of a terrace of five houses. Pitched caulked slate roofs with red brick chimneystack. Rendered walls with replacement timber casement windows. Replacement timber panelled door approached by flight of replacement steps.
Built as a group with the adjoining terrace of four houses to the north and south, these houses are notable additions to the streetscape. Several gable-fronted houses are found in the Shandon area, and they contribute to the unique character of this part of the city. The unusual form of these houses is a significant contributor to the architectural heritage of Cork.
