Appraisal

Built as a group with the adjoining terrace of four houses to the north, these houses are notable additions to the streetscape. Several gable-fronted houses are found in the Shandon area, and they contribute to the unique character of this part of the city. The unusual form of these houses is a significant contributor to the architectural heritage of Cork.
