Terraced two-bay two-storey over raised basement house, c. 1800; annexe to rear. Pitched roof with rendered chimney stack. Ruled and lined render finish. Plat band to ground and first floor cill levels. Camber headed window openings with cills and timber sliding sash window. Eight over eight pane windows to the ground floor, six over six pane to the first floor, timber casement window to basement c. 1980. Round headed door opening with highly decorative door case having engaged Ionic timber columns, archivolt with paterae and segmental fanlight. Timber panelled door. Steps up to entrance door with plain wrought iron rail. Enclosed yard area to rear.
Distinctive late-Georgian terraced house, retaining many of its characteristic features, as well as its scale and form unchanged. Significant in its own right, and also for its contribution to this historically fashionable streetscape.
