Description
Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c. 1860. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls. Timber sliding sash windows. Set back from the street behind rendered walls having segmental-arched door opening with moulded render surround and timber matchboard door.
Appraisal
Set back from the street behind a wall, this house is located on an elevated position overlooking the city, which is characteristic of houses in this area. The building is enhanced by the retention of interesting features and materials, such as the timber sliding sash windows, slate roof and notable entrance gate.
