Appraisal

The scale and form of this group make a notable and positive contribution to the streetscape. These houses are representative of the architectural design and materials employed in the construction of artisans dwellings in the latter part of the nineteenth century in Ireland. The materials utilised in the construction of these buildings, such as the yellow brick and red brick add colour and textural interested to the urban landscape.
