Stable complex, extant 1837, about a courtyard including (west): Detached five-bay single-storey coach house-cum-stable outbuilding with half-attic on a U-shaped plan with single-bay (three-bay deep) full-height projecting end bays. Renovated to accommodate alternative use. Hipped slate roof on a U-shaped plan including gablets to window openings to half-attic, clay or terracotta ridge tiles, paired red brick Running bond central chimney stacks having corbelled stepped capping supporting terracotta or yellow terracotta pots, and cast-iron rainwater goods on cut-granite eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Gritdashed roughcast walls bellcast over rendered plinth with cut-granite flush quoins to corners. Square-headed central door opening with cut-granite threshold, and cut-granite block-and-start surround centred on keystone framing replacement glazed timber double doors. Pair of segmental-headed flanking carriageways with cut-granite block-and-start surrounds centred on keystones framing timber boarded double doors. Square-headed window openings with cut-granite sills, and concealed dressings framing six-over-six timber sash windows (ground floor) or replacement casement windows (half-attic). Set in relandscaped grounds shared with Loughlinstown House with granite ashlar piers to courtyard having finial-topped cut-granite stepped capping.
A stable complex contributing positively to the group and setting values of the depleted Loughlinstown House estate.
