Freestanding brick chimney, between 1840-63/4, comprising tapered shaft on a square plan with brick laid in English Garden wall bond courses, and carved (concave) cut-granite course supporting cut-granite stepped coping. Set back from line of street in shared grounds with overgrown grounds to site [SS].
An elegant, if increasingly obscured landmark in the streetscape off Mill Park Road and Saint John's Street representing an important element of the industrial legacy of Enniscorthy having connections with a brewery and flour mill complex operating on site since the early nineteenth century.
