Description
Freestanding monument, dated 1958, on a square plan on stepped base. Repositioned, 1991. Set on concrete brick cobbled traffic island.

Appraisal
A monument by Arthur J. Breen (----) of Dublin erected to the memory of 'Seamus Rafter [1873-1918] and all those who gave their lives in the cause of Irish Freedom' representing an important component of the mid twentieth-century built heritage of Enniscorthy.
