Appraisal

An attractive early-to-mid nineteenth-century building constructed of high-quality stonework. It has a conscious architectural style and is an interesting addition to this important complex of buildings within Custume Barracks. The scale and location of this structure suggest that it may have been used originally as officer's accommodation.
