Description
Pair of terraced two-bay three-storey houses, built c.1840. Now in use as apartments. Pitched artificial slate roof with cast-iron rainwater goods and rendered chimneystacks to either end. Rendered walls with square-headed window openings having replacement windows. Square-headed doorways to the inner bays having replacement doors and plain overlights above. Road-fronted with lane to east gable end.
Appraisal
A pair of modest terraced buildings with pleasing proportions, which retains their early character despite the loss of the original fabric to the openings. These buildings remain important components in the streetscape of O'Connell Street.
