Description

Terraced two-bay three-storey house, c.1860, retaining original fenestration. Reroofed, c.1985. One of a pair. Pitched (shared) roof with replacement artificial slate, c.1985, clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) chimney stack, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Unpainted rendered, ruled and lined walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills. 3/6 and 6/6 timber sash windows with 8/8 timber sash window to ground floor having margins. Round-headed door opening with replacement timber door, c.1985, and rendered overpanel. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

Appraisal

An attractive, middle-size house of modest appearance, built as one of a pair (with 22830313/WD-09-30-313), which retains its original form and massing, together with most of the original fabric, and which contributes to the streetscape value of Manor Street.
