Description

End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, c.1850, originally three separate single-bay two-storey houses retaining some early fenestration. Part refenestrated, c.2000. Pitched slate roof with red clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills. 1/1 timber sash windows with some replacement uPVC casement windows, c.2000, and with some window openings now blocked-up. Square-headed door openings with timber panelled doors. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.

Appraisal

An appealing house of modest scale and appearance, originally built as three separate houses, which retains some important salient features and materials, and which forms an important component of the streetscape of The Green.
