Pitched (shared) slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered chimney stack, square rooflight, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted roughcast walls. Square-headed window openings with stone sills. 1/1 timber sash windows. Round-headed door opening with rendered surround and replacement timber panelled door, c.1975, with overlight. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
This house, built as one of a terrace of five (with 22500234/WD-5632-16-230), is an attractive small-scale composition that has been very well maintained to present an original aspect. The house retains its original form and important salient features and materials. The house is an attractive feature in the streetscape of Anne Street and is of significance representing a small-scale residential development on a secondary street in the centre of Waterford City in the mid nineteenth century.
