Description

End-of-terrace two-bay two-storey house, c.1890. Roughcast rendered walls. Raised red brick surrounds to openings and red brick quoins. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Plain timber door with overlight. Later projecting open brick porch. Pitched slate roof with brick eaves and red brick chimney stack. Amalgamated with neighbour to left.

Appraisal

Part of a group of twenty terraced houses overlooking the River Liffey and the weir and sluice to the north of Lucan town. A fine example of nineteenth-century working class purpose-built housing, substantially in original condition.
