Terraced four-bay two-storey house, built c.1820, now vacant, with shopfront to ground floor, integral carriage arch to south, return and range of outbuildings to rear. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Channelled render to ground floor and ruled-and-lined render to first floor with stucco quoins. Stucco surrounds to window openings with timber sash and replacement timber and uPVC windows and stone sills. Two entrances comprising timber panelled and glazed timber double doors flanked by stucco pilasters and surmounted by cornice. Segmental-headed carriage arch with stucco voussoirs and keystone. Two-storey random coursed stone outbuildings to rear. House fronts onto street.
The regular form of this house is embellished by the variety of render treatments and elaborate stucco detailing to openings. The retention of the stone outbuildings to the rear adds colour and character to the site.
