Single-arch masonry bridge, c.1850, carrying the Castlejordan to Clonmore road over the River Yellow at the boundary between Counties Meath and Offaly. The present bridge may be a rebuild by the Board of Works as part of the Boyne drainage scheme 1848-52. Limestone abutments with slightly projecting rusticated quoins and string course. Segmental profile arch. Voussoirs of rusticated blocks. Parapets coped with dressed limestone with curved tops.
The present bridge is situated on the site of an eighteenth-/early nineteenth-century road bridge. This current bridge was erected by the Board of Works as part of the Boyne drainage scheme.
