Terraced two-bay three-storey house, built c.1850, with integral carriage arch and return to rear. House fronts directly onto street. Pitched tiled roof with terracotta ridge tiles, rendered chimneystacks and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast render to walls. Timber sash windows with stone sills. Square-headed door opening with moulded stucco surround, timber panelled door and overlight. Square-headed integral carriage arch opening with timber battened door.
The scale and form of this building is notable. Grouped with its neighbours, it creates a uniform building line leading into Emmet Square. The retention of its mid nineteenth-century timber sash window and bolection panelled door gives the house aesthetic appeal, while enhancing the streetscape.
