Description
Graveyard with headstones dating from the early eighteenth century, bounded by rubble stone walls with ashlar gates piers and pair of cast-iron gates. Ruin of an earlier church, built c.1600, to graveyard.
Appraisal
This graveyard is located on an elevated site overlooking the Boyne Estuary. It contains the ruins of a medieval church which adds archaeological interest to the site. Many of the gravestone are of artistic interest, due to their carved decorative detailing.
