Terrace of five double-pile two- and three-bay two-storey stone houses, built c.1830, with integral carriage arch, now in commercial use. Pitched slate roof with terracotta ridge tiles and red brick chimneystacks. Squared limestone walls with a red brick eaves course. Round-arched red brick dressings to door openings, two retaining leaded fanlights. Red brick dressing to openings. Modern shopfront.
This terrace of houses makes a positive contribution to the village streetscape. Though many original features and materials have been replaced, the terrace retains its original form, integral carriage arch and slate roofs. The two remaining leaded fanlights are notable features of the group.
