Description

Detached three-bay two-storey constabulary barrack, built c.1820, now in use as Garda Síochána station. Timber sash windows with stone sills to first floor. Appraisal

This building occupies an unusual position in the village. Unlike the other buildings along the main street which face each other across the street, it is orientated to face north-west along the main street. The timber sash windows and stone doorcase enhance the modest form of this building.
