Terraced three-bay two-storey house, c.1825. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered (shared) and red brick irregular bond chimney stacks, and cast-iron rainwater goods on slightly overhanging rendered eaves. Ivy-clad unpainted rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, six-over-six (ground floor) and three-over-six (first floor) timber sash windows. Square-headed door opening with timber panelled door having overlight. Set back from line of road with sections of iron railings to front on painted rendered plinth having painted rendered piers, and iron gate.
A modest-scale house incorporating Classically-derived proportions forming an appealing feature of graceful quality in the streetscape. The survival of most of the historic fabric enhances the positive contribution made by the house to the character of the street scene.
