Remains of single-arch rubble stone road bridge over railway line, opened 1865. Closed, 1963. Coursed rock-faced cut-limestone walls with rock-faced cut-limestone coping to parapets. Sited spanning site of railway line with opening not visible (presumed now gone).
The remains of a bridge representing an important element of the architectural heritage of County Kilkenny on account of the associations with the development of the Great Southern and Western Railway line by the Kilkenny Junction Railway Company. Although long decommissioned the slightly raised profile of the deck survives as an appealing feature in the streetscape of Green's Hill.
