Appraisal

A picturesque small-scale house built as one of a pair (second in pair not included in survey) exuding a modest, almost rustic quality, thereby contributing to the diversity of the street scene. The retention of the original form and massing together with most of the historic fabric maintains some of the integrity of the assemblage while making a positive impression on the character of Barrack Street.
