Description

Single-arch bridge over river, c.1875. Rock faced limestone ashlar walls with margined rock faced cut-limestone chamfered stringcourses supporting benchmark-inscribed parapets having margined tooled cut-limestone "saddleback" coping. Single segmental arch with margined rock faced limestone ashlar voussoirs. Sited spanning Ward River with overgrown grass banks to river. A plaque commemorates Peter Wilson (d. 1916) 'Who Gave His Life For Irish Freedom In The Rising Of Easter Week 1916'.
