Description

Seven-arch shale-built hump-back road bridge over river, c. 1765, with granite dressings including rusticated voussoirs, triple keystones and recessed niches. Designed by George Smith. A section of the bBridge was blown up on 13 June 1798 by Crown Foces to prevent the insurgents crossing into Co. Kilkenny
