Freestanding square-plan folly tower, built c.1820, now ruinous. Rubble stone walls with dressed stone eaves course. Ogee-headed opening to each elevation. Located in field.

Appraisal

Though now sadly in ruinous condition, this folly remains an interesting feature in the landscape. It forms part of an interesting group with two other folly towers, and part of a wider group of demesne structures, formerly relating to Beechmount House. It was apparently built by the Colthurst family to commemorate the death of a family member at the battle of Trafalgar.
