Terraced two-bay three-storey former house built c.1840, with timber shopfront to front (north) elevation. Now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof having overhanging eaves, rendered chimneystack and cast-iron rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled render walls. Camber-headed window openings with render sills, having incised keystones and uPVC casement windows. Timber shopfront comprising pilasters surmounted by fascia and moulded cornice. Square-headed window opening having timber-framed round-headed arcaded display window with profiled mullions. Square-headed door opening having timber panelled door with overlight.
The scale and form of this building is in keeping with the fine historic terrace of which it is an integral part. Noteworthy features including the arcaded display window, lined-and-ruled render, camber-headed upper floor openings and over sailing eaves add character to both the building and streetscape.
