Terraced two-bay two-storey former house, built c.1820, having recent shopfront. Now in use as shop. Pitched artificial slate roof with rendered chimneystack, eaves course and uPVC rainwater goods. Lined-and-ruled rendered walls having render quoins. Square-headed window openings with render sills to first floor front elevation, having two-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Shopfront comprising channelled pilasters surmounted by decorative carved brackets, architrave, frieze and dentilated cornice. Camber-headed window openings having fixed single-pane timber-framed display windows with spandrels over rendered stall risers. Camber-headed door opening having double-leaf timber panelled doors opening to internal porch.
Built as a pair with the adjoining house to the south, this pair retains some historic fabric and character in a greatly altered and redeveloped street. The pair's small scale, lined-and-ruled render and traditional timber sliding sash windows are noteworthy features.
