Terraced two-bay two-storey house, built c.1760. Pitched slate roof with rendered and red brick chimneystack, render coping to south-west gable and cast-iron rainwater goods. Painted roughcast rendered walls. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills and one-over-one timber sliding sash windows. Square-headed opening having timber panelled door with limestone step.
The irregular facade of this building is unusual in Castletownshend, as most of the buildings in the village defer to the formal, classical tradition in their regular proportions. Located on the main street the house makes a quirky addition to the streetscape.
