Cast-iron water pump, erected c. 1870, with banded shaft and spout and remains of curved handle.
Appraisal
Attractive, unusually short, cast-iron water pump located in its original position in the village of Ballycotton. It would have once acted as a communal water source and played a role in the villagers social interaction.
