Appraisal

These entrance gates relate to the former church to the north, and these structures form an interesting group of related structures. The materials utilised in the construction of these gates make a positive and notable addition to the streetscape. The carved limestone details and the crisp ashlar were clearly executed by skilled stone cutters and masons.
