Description
Terraced three-bay single-storey house, c. 1835. Slate pitched roof. Brick chimney stack with decorative clay chimney pots. Rendered painted walls, ruled and lined. Replacement uPVC windows and timber door, retaining hipped hood mouldings above window openings; part of group arrangement around square.
Appraisal
Early nineteenth-century terraced house with simple hipped hood-mouldings to windows. Of regional interest, excluding alterations, as part of little altered arrangement around square where roofline and plan form remains intact. Important also as former military housing associated with Barracks on site of South Infirmary.
