Description

End-of-terrace two-bay three-storey over basement house, c. 1830, with brick façade, retaining timber sash windows and tripartite window to ground floor, having round headed entrance with fanlight and engaged fluted Doric columns, with limestone steps to main entrance. Slate pitched roof behind parapet.

Appraisal

Very significant early nineteenth-century terraced house, possibly designed by Sir Thomas Deane, forming part of one of Cork's most significant terraces of houses. In poor condition but retaining doorcase and later timber windows. The house was sold in late 2001 and is due for refurbishment.
