Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1845, now also in use as public house. Rendered walls with rendered walls. Pitched tile roof with rendered chimneystacks. Round-arched block-and-start stone door surround with a timber cornice, plain fanlight and timber panelled door. Tripartite timber sash windows set in moulded render surrounds with limestone sills. Timber shopfront comprising of carved pilasters and pedimented console brackets, with timber fascia having timber lettering and with pair of glazed timber doors..
This building is a positive contributor to the streetscape in the village. The building retains many interesting features and materials, such as the render details, timber sash windows, and timber panelled door. The simple timber shopfront and tooled limestone block-and-start door surround are notable features of the building.
