Description : Modest-sized demesne for pre-1835 house. Grounds improved and embellished for the present house c.1835. Incorporating some existing water and woodland, the grounds were designed and laid out specifically for the new house to be in perfect harmony, which is very successful. House is fronted by a carriage drive; well planted; ornamental terracing drops to walks around ponds to a Summer House, which is contemporary with the house. Fully planted (including the walled garden) and fully maintained.
