Description : Interesting sizeable demesne for early 19th century house. Originally largely composed of parkland, surrounded by shelter belts and containing large clumps of trees and bisected by a through-driveway. By mid 19th century, east half dotted with individual trees, all largely gone by mid 20th century. Shelter belts remain. Internally now intensively farmed and fruit farm. (1836 OS map shows a classic "Brownian" landscape.)
