Description : Grounds for pre 1832 house above the shores of Lough Swilly and backed by a large area of woodland, Rathmullan Wood. House is a replacement or addition to an earlier house, which had an entrance leading straight up the hill from a gate lodge. Present entrance further east and approach drives curves around the lawns. Gate lodge gone. Original outbuildings in good order. Productive gardens northwest of house, now a parkland. Small area of maintained ornamental gardens west of house which was formerly the orchard. Site of three rare Camperdown Elm trees.
