Description : Sizeable demesne for late 18th century house, enlarged in 1823 and 1853, set on high ground above the River Swilly. Although it has been institutionalised for a long time, the site retains its integrity, enhanced by fine mature trees and replantings. The house was sold in 1936. Now state-owned, it is in use by the army. The grounds managed by Coillte. At the time of the sale, the agricultural land was sold separately.
