| Description : Modest demesne for a five-bay, two-storey over basement house c.1810. House indicated but not named on 1836 OS. Set on high ground to the south of the River Finn. Ornamental planting north of the house. Fine mature trees in shelter belts, some parkland. Square harled gate posts with ball finials at northwestern entrance. A stream runs southwest to southeast on northern side of demesne. Pre 1857 walled garden and outbuildings not inspected. Aerial photographs show reduced tree coverage south of house. Unable to gain access. |
