Description : Small demesne for pre 1836 two-storey over basement house, built in a prominent position on high ground and surrounded by fine mature trees. The house is sited next to a ring fort, Rathdonnell Fort, which was incorporated into the landscape as a feature and planted with surrounding trees, and is maintained as a circular lawn with tree planting at the exterior ditch.
