Description : Large demesne situated on western side of Lough Eske. 19th century Elizabethan-style castle built on site of mid 18th century house; burnt out in 1939, it has recently been renovated and is now an hotel. Ruins of Old Lough Eske castle lie northeast of the house. A number of fine mature trees remain and tree coverage has increased.
